The new event, Our Kingdoms Eternal, is live! Check out the marathon website for more Information.

We won‘t have official checkpoints this time around, but you are warmly invited to make new discussion, resource, help and plug posts anytime (please tag them accordingly).

As stated in the updated sticky post, both the participants of the new event as well as of the previous event (the Ghost of You Shrine Challenge) are welcome to take part in conversations here. The intention is to keep the active member group dynamic while encouraging interaction between different cohorts (of adjacent events). (And who knows, maybe someone from the previous event decides to sign up this time around after brainstorming with someone new!) On that note, do check out the final line-up and the plugs from the previous event, and comment freely if you wish.

Very excited to be here hehe! ♡ I've been wanting to revamp my collective for a while now, partly because it never fully launched, but mainly because the layout and writing has just never felt quite right. It's very me, and very casual, but for a collective, feels almost... too casual? It feels much more suited to blog writing right now, or little asides, rather than the bulk of the content that exists.

I have a bit of rewriting done already, and very, very base code (mainly font families and colors), but the specific graphics have lived rent-free in my head for two years or so now, and I'm really hoping I'll be able to make them a reality somehow.

Other than that, if I'm able to get everything revamped and launched, my next big project is a subcollective for Uma Musume shrines and fanlistings! One of those is published already, and I have just some very base CSS for another, but mostly they're just kind of rolling around in my head, aha.

I'm excited to see how everyone else's projects unfold, and to hopefully make some connections in this space!

I know exactly what you mean about having a design live in your head before you can see it come to life. Sometimes when it comes time to actually make it, it seems like it's making itself. I hope the process goes smoothly for you!

I'm very excited for this event; thank you for running it, Lethe! My domain has been in desperate need of a revamp for (what is now) the better part of a decade. I made a new layout a few years ago (how has it been that long already) but I barely touched the content. It's time to overhaul it to better suit my current sensibilities and plans. Frankly I don't feel like my domain represents me very well right now, which needs to be fixed since it's my main home on the web.

I signed up to revamp my contact page as well (in part because I had already started working on it) but if I get done early (lmao) I may try and revamp my guestbook as well... but I make no promises because dealing with the guestbook backend is a literal nightmare.

Also, I appreciate the long runtime of this event because heaven knows I'm going to procrastinate working on it... Listen, these video games won't play themselves.
